The Spirit Fire Mission

The Spirit Fire Revolution is a movement to revive and ignite the world’s need for Christ and for morality itself. It is our conviction that today’s culture has all but forgotten the Great Commission, ‘to make disciples of nations’, and that we are in a unique position to revitalize the confidence of Christ-followers world-wide.

In this society of ever-growing corruption and ignorance, it remains a surprisingly difficult task to seek the word of God and find it uncensored. Political and cultural barriers have been implemented on the way Christ-followers are perceived, often resulting in negative connotations.

Today, religion has become something of a mockery. Its meaning ranges from a Facebook status to a code of conduct. Zealous fanatics are ridiculed for convictions of all kinds, and the weak of heart strive to fit in by suppressing unpopular beliefs. Religion is blamed for wars, murders, willful ignorance, simple stupidity, bigotry, and more. The truly unfortunate part is that not all of that is wrong. While the spirituality of millions dangles by a thread, our own lethargy for our belief system seems to be fueling the fire towards faith’s end.

Over the course of history, the Christian ethic has turned away from the true nature of God and has adopted a variety of guises in its stead. It expands far beyond the legalists whose structure frighteningly resembles the Puritans, or the high school alcoholics who claim to be Christians when they behave far more intolerably than non-believers. The truth of the matter is that there’s only a tiny fraction of believers who truly act as they should.

We need your help. We need as many voices raised as possible to shake the foundations of a decadent world. We cannot accomplish that by being “good old-fashioned comfortable Christians.” We cannot sit on our hands any longer. Now is the time to put an end to the “just be a good person” mentality. Now is the time to stop engaging in defensive ploys and meet the challenges to our faith head on.

There is a war raging within our culture. We have chosen what we will stand for. We hope and pray that you will stand with us.

He took the world’s sin. Now we must retake sin’s world.
